Vision

My name is Rose and I'm a bisexual, nonbinary, trans woman. My pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them/their/theirs. I work as an advocate for trans inclusion, body acceptance, and mental health awareness, as well as a content creator, model, actor, public speaker, and makeup artist. I use my social media as a platform to spread love and knowledge about the trans community. I first went viral while in college in 2014. I posted a YouTube video: Coming Out to the Church, which was quickly picked up by GLAAD, The Advocate, Queerty, The Huffington Post, and more. Since then I have continued to share my story on social media and have amassed over 900K followers across my platforms. I choose to be visible because I didn't know an LGBTQ+ person growing up. I didn't know the word 'transgender' until high school.

As my social media has grown, I have become overwhelmed by the frequently asked questions I receive. This site is a safe space to connect and learn more about the transgender community through my own experiences. The world needs positivity and accurate representation. My hope is to spread education and love. I hope to be the person I needed when I was younger. Know that it's okay to question who you are. You are valid, worthy, and loved. Thank you for being here and welcome to the Trans Plant Family. My followers named themselves Trans Plants in Fall 2020, and I loved it.

Pink Trans Plant T-Shirt

Rose’s followers call themselves her ‘Trans Plants.’ The pun started on TikTok after Rose posted a video where she called herself ‘Queen Rose’ at the age of 4. Shortly after her followers started calling her Queen Rose. She then asked her followers what they wish to be called. Trans Plants is a pun based off of Rose’s name being a plant and her being transgender.
