Dating While Trans
Dating can be difficult for transgender people, but I've found it get's a lot easier in time. I think there's a lot more acceptance and understanding than when I first came out, but I also sometimes have cis assuming privilege and have a lot more confidence. I am bisexual, meaning I don't care about what's in someone's pants, I care about what's in someone's heart. In my life I have been with many different kinds of people. I've had some bad experiences, but I've also had many great experiences. I've fallen in love and fallen out of love. The most important lesson I've learned is to focus on loving myself and focusing on my own happiness and needs first.
Ethical Non-Monogamy/ Polyamory
A video I made on Valentine's day about my experiences dating since I've transitioned. It can be very difficult sometimes, but I've been on lots of really pleasant dates. Don't worry about not finding someone if you're trans, there's hope for us yet.
Refusing to be attracted to or date a trans person solely because we are trans is inherently transphobic. To identify as super straight is transphobic. This being said: having a body part preference is valid; and no one needs to date a trans person. I would implore anyone who refuses such to ask themselves why.
